Organization Description:
The George E. Thorne Development Center (GETDC) is a 501(c)(3) tax exempt non profit corporation. Founded by Anita T. Conner, CPA in 2000, The George E. Thorne Development Center was created to share with people the lessons of education, hard work, perseverance, self confidence and financial management. Through these lessons individuals will have the necessary tools to control their own destiny. GETDC confronts the challenges of its surrounding community and links members of the community with concerned leaders and available resources. GETDC's primary initiatives are financial literacy for youth, adults, small businesses and religious organizations. GETDC also host the Praise Is The Cure Week of Hope, Health & Healing which is a Breast Cancer Awareness program.
