10 Years of Community Service

2000
We received our articles of incorporation and 501(c) (3) Tax exempt status.

We took a group of students on our first College Tour to Howard University, Georgetown, University of Maryland, Morgan State College, and the University of Delaware.

We hosted our first Church Business & Finance Conference educating religious leaders on many topics such as How to Stay in Compliance with the IRS, Payroll and Personnel, Budgeting, Establishing Good Accounting Controls, and more.

We hosted our first Money Smart Workshop for Youth.  In addition to teaching the youth about money matters we open savings accounts for students who attend the training.

2003
We hosted our first College Preparatory Workshop where we had interactive discussions on topics including: How to Select the Best College for You, How to Complete a College application, How to Apply for Financial Aid and more topics.

2006
We launched our Praise Is The Cure™ breast cancer awareness program distributing information and giving speeches about the importance of early detection at churches during breast cancer awareness month.  We have distributed over 25,000 information packets.

2007
Launched the first Criminal Justice Workshop for Youth where we visit high school classrooms and educate the students about the criminal justice systems and career opportunities.

2008
We expanded Praise Is The Cure™  to an annual Weekend of Hope, Health and Healing, which includes a health fair, free mammograms and other screenings, workshops, a breast cancer survivors pamper party, and a celebrate life gospel concert.

We launched our first Smart Money Workshop for Adults with an interactive series including topics on Debt Management, Budgeting, Determining Retirement and Insurance Needs, Saving and Investing, and Estate Planning.
