What We Do

GETDC has expanded over the years to include four primary initiatives: College Planning, Criminal Justice Forum, Financial Literacy Workshops, and Praise Is The Cure (breast health intervention and prevention).

GETDC confronts the challenges of its surrounding community and links members of the community with concerned leaders and available resources.

GETDC offers students the opportunity to learn business and life-skills; to explore options for college; to meet, work with and learn from business professionals, lawyers, judges, law enforcement officers, teachers and other community leaders.

GETDC offers adults the opportunity to learn how to overcome financial obstacles and move forward on the path of building wealth and financial prosperity.

GETDC motivates, educates and encourages African American Women to get breast health screenings and treatments, distributes information packets about breast heath, free mammograms and support to patients, survivors and family members as they go through their journey.

All of our programs are made possible by the support of financial partners from the metropolitan Philadelphia area.  GETDC is a testimony as to what can be accomplished in a community that is supported by the community.
