Our programs and services enable us to continue to spread the word about breast health issues in the African American community and provide activities for breast cancer patients and survivors, as well as under-served women at risk.
Praise Café
The Praise Café is an afternoon of fellowship, food and fun with Praise Is The Cure’s network of breast cancer patients and survivors, their families, friends. The event also serves as a celebration of men who are “Champions in the Fight against Breast Cancer”. The event activities include a brunch, fashion show, vendors, music, an inspirational speaker, and an awards ceremony.

An event that recognizes the difficult journey to wellness made by African American Breast Cancer patients, survivors’, and their families. The event promotes breast cancer awareness, intervention and prevention, and celebrates patients and survivors. Free Community Event Open to the Public.
Workshops/Conferences
Our workshop “Spirituality and Breast Cancer” helps patients,
and survivors, their family and friends understand what role
spirituality plays on their journey and road to recovery.
This workshop is held in a group setting
and is very interactive.
